"Urban Wasteland" explores the unsettling stillness of modern cities left empty and silent. These works imagine urban landscapes after human presence fades, where only machines and forgotten structures remain. Through fragmented architecture and solitary figures, the series reflects on themes of abandonment, disconnection, and the fragile relationship between humanity and the built environment.

Ela Daple (b. 1987, Romania) is a self-taught artist based in Budapest, Hungary. With a background in photography and graphic design, she creates paintings that explore the intersection of humanity and technology.
