BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
Tristan Schulze is a Vienna-based composer, cellist, organist, conductor, and multidisciplinary artist. Originally from Saxony, Germany, he studied cello in Dresden and later pursued conducting and composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, enriching his artistic vision through studies and cultural exchanges across Europe, India, Africa, and Latin America.
Throughout his distinguished career, Schulze has collaborated with internationally acclaimed artists including Hans Zimmer, Bobby McFerrin, Julian Rachlin, and Janine Jansen, while composing for leading institutions such as the Vienna State Opera and numerous orchestras and festivals worldwide.
Alongside his musical work, Schulze has expanded his artistic practice into sculpture, exploring form, movement, and emotion through three-dimensional expression. His sculptural works reflect the same depth, sensitivity, and creative curiosity that characterize his music, offering a new perspective on his artistic universe.
