Josep Torello

Josep Torelló (Barcelona, 1982) is a visual artist whose practice is informed by cinema, music, and narrative structures. Holding a PhD in Audiovisual Communication and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Arts Education, his work explores perception, temporality, and the tension between abstraction and figuration.

Alongside his artistic practice, Torelló is the author of the essay La música en las Maneras de Representación cinematográfica (2015) and the novel La tela blanca (2018). He is a professor at the Centre de la Imatge i la Tecnologia Multimèdia (CITM) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
