DESCRIPTION
Created in response to my research into Limerick Museum's archive, which concentrated on old glass plates of unknown young women from the early 20th Century.
 
In working with the archival material, I developed a process of repetition, reflection and layering, which allowed me to connect visually with these women who have been erased from history.
 
My process of layering, distorting and reshaping enabled me to create portraits that moved beyond representation and to reimagine a new narrative.
