BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
Philipp Laubender (born 1994 in Vienna) is an Austrian photographer whose work explores the intersections of portrait, street, and experimental photography.
 
Since 2025, he has been working as a freelance photographer. His visual language is defined by precise composition, nuanced lighting, and a sensitive eye for authentic human moments.
 
He studied at the FotoSchule Wien and has attended several masterclasses with renowned photographers such as Manfred Baumann and Joakim Möller.
 
Laubender’s work has received multiple recognitions, including the ÖVF Diploma (5th place, Portrait category, 2025), selection among the Swiss Photo Club Top 50 Jury Voting. And awarded with the Special Mention at the 4th Toolip International Art Contest in Vienna.
 
His photography was also published in the professional magazine FotoObjektiv in 2025.
He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Trieste Photo Days (2025), Foto Wien (2025), Haus der Fotografie (2025), and CITYgalleryVienna (2025).
