DESCRIPTION
The work is based on a simple subject - childhood, a theme that is probably familiar to every viewer and may evoke personal memories of this period of life. The simplicity of the scene invites the viewer to turn to their own memories and associations. The work leaves space for imagination: for example, water can be associated with time, which flows quickly and irreversibly, while the paper boats may symbolize hopes and dreams - where they will “sail” and how they may later become reality. The evening time and moonlight create an atmosphere that encourages dreaming and inner reflection. The idea of the artwork is to awaken the inner child that lives in each of us, and to remind the viewer of their own hopes and dreams, as well as how much they have come true in reality.
