DESCRIPTION
This work is born from the space between consciousness and surrender, a dialogue between silence and sound. Through the act of blind performance it reflects on the essence of Mozart’s Requiem, the tension between mortality and transcendence. The image captures a state where vision fades yet music becomes the only form of truth.
 
BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
Arman Mansouri is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and performance artist from Qatar with Iranian roots. Originally trained as a pilot at Qatar Aeronautical College, he later pursued his passion for art, film, and design. A former resident artist at the Doha Fire Station Museum (AIR 7), Arman has exhibited in leading Qatari institutions including the Museum of Islamic Art, M7, and the Doha Fire Station.
 
His first short film was selected for the Made in Qatar program at the Ajyal Film Festival and has screened internationally. Working across painting, performance, and video art, Arman is also known for creating a unique typographic system based on universal musical notes,an experimental font readable across multiple alphabets. His practice explores identity, memory, and cultural heritage through a distinctly cross-disciplinary lens.
