DESCRIPTION
This artwork was born from an inspiring journey into history, strength, and the spirit of womanhood, drawing deep influence from Scythian heritage and jewelry. At the center of the canvas stands a woman carrying the legacy of generations. She is a Scythian Goddess—a guardian of lineage and tradition whose strength inspires those around her and shields them from harm. She wears a wealth of jewelry that transcends mere decoration; these are sacred amulets, vessels of protection, and symbols of the inner power that connects her to her roots.
 
BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
Oleksandra Roche-Newton is a Ukrainian contemporary artist based in Austria. She began painting in 2012, initially creating small works for friends while working as a web designer. After moving to Austria in 2015, painting gradually became an important part of her life, helping her express her experiences, emotions, and connection to her new surroundings.
She held her first exhibition in Innsbruck in 2019, an experience that made her realize that art was more than a hobby. Since then, she has continued to develop her personal style, bringing together elements of naïve art, pop art, symbolism, and abstraction.
Nature, color, and emotion are at the heart of Oleksandra’s work. Through vibrant colors and expressive compositions, she creates an imaginative world that reflects both what she sees around her and what she feels within
