Born in Barcelona, Marga trained as a photographer and graphic designer at the Vic University and the IEFC. Painting came as a natural progression. Interfering with and filtering the world through painting has opened a new way of expression for her.
 
She was trained at the Academy of Art of Barcelona and the Studio Escalier in Paris. Marga has experienced work at several master painters' studios. Each one has inspired and taught her a different outlook.
 
arga loves both figurative expression and abstract.
She places ethereal figures in timeless environments in an almost dreamlike manner. Oil and drawing are used mainly to connect disparate ideas into a single piece of work. Inspired by the people around her and by anonymous characters, Marga first observes and then extracts emotions and expressions using her photography experience to capture moments and interpret them on canvas.
