DESCRIPTION
Portrait of Gytis is part of a creative project titled "Faith." I began developing this project at the start of the pandemic.
 
Its aim is to explore the perspectives on faith and related topics among people of different ages, genders, and professions.
 
The portrait was painted from life in a single sitting using the alla prima technique, in order to capture the participant’s mood and emotional state during the discussion.
 
During the exhibition, a printed excerpt from the recorded dialogue may be displayed alongside the portrait.
