DESCRIPTION
The sense of reflection both of myself and of water is intrinsic in my paintings. Intuitively landing in mysterious in-between places, where the mind and heart can feel at ease and clench their thirst for peace. At least for a moment. Even if it is just an illusion of closeness. I have had this recurring dream of looking for my father, while the Danube was flooding. I assumed it was a metaphor. Now, in all my adult years, when I look at the Danube, I know that is where he found peace. I look for him in all waters and nature`s signs, creating mirages of the mind. Undeniable synchronicities, visceral clarity, and hidden truths. Reconnecting both with myself and nature is one task, and not two.
