BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
Claudia Heiland, 43, lives in Lower Austria and balances her work as a health nurse, psychotherapist, and mindfulness and meditation trainer with her passion for art. Fascinated early on by the world of colors—especially the color wheel—she has spent the past 15 years exploring color, form, and material through self-directed study and various artist courses. Without formal art training, Claudia’s work is deeply rooted in intuition, presence, and her connection with nature. Her paintings reflect mindfulness and the passage of time, using processes like oxidation to express change, patience, and impermanence. She is also a mother to an adult son.
