BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
ED was born in 1975 in the south of Paris. From a young age, she felt a strong desire to create — to shape a world in her own image, where emotions collide in a bold blend of provocation and joie de vivre.
A lifelong passion for drawing and painting naturally led her to study at the Institut Saint-Luc in Tournai, Belgium, where she earned a degree in Graphic Arts.
 
She began her career as a graphic designer and layout artist in a communications agency, and soon after founded her own creative agency, which she ran for ten years.
 
ED draws inspiration from artists such as Basquiat, the pop art of Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, and the work of street artists like Monsieur Chat and JonOne. Her medium of choice is acrylic.
Her paintings invite the viewer to drift between memory and forgetfulness, each discovering their own personal madeleine de Proust in her work.
 
ED exhibits regularly in France and across Europe, as well as in Dubai and Miami.
