DESCRIPTION
Fine art digital photograph, double exposure technique developed in
post-processing:Jellyfish drift above the rooftops of Vienna, as if the sky itself had transformed into an ocean. In this way, the cityscape becomes a seascape, dissolving the boundary between reality and imagination.
In this double exposure, two worlds converge: the massive architecture of the city and the
floating creatures of the sea. Architecture meets evolution in a dialogue of weight and lightness, density and transparency.
Presented in a black wooden frame and printed on Fine Art Baryta paper of museum quality, the image is part of a limited edition of 8 prints.
 
BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
Philipp Laubender (born 1994 in Vienna) is an Austrian photographer whose work explores the intersections of portrait, street, and experimental photography. Since 2025, he has been working as a freelance photographer. His visual language is defined by precise composition, nuanced lighting, and a sensitive eye for authentic human moments.
He studied at the FotoSchule Wien and has attended several masterclasses with renowned photographers such as Manfred Baumann and Joakim Möller.
Laubender’s work has received multiple recognitions, including the ÖVF Diploma (5th place, Portrait category, 2025) and selection among the Swiss Photo Club Top 50 Jury Voting. His photography was also published in the professional magazine FotoObjektiv in 2025.
He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Trieste Photo Days (2025), Foto Wien (2025), Haus der Fotografie (2025), and CITYgalleryVienna (2025).
