In this series, the iris becomes a kind of passage.
Often seen as a bridge between worlds — between what we see and what we don’t — it appears here more quietly, almost as a guide through transformation.
Each piece holds a different state.
A slight shift in color, in gesture, in how it opens or holds back.
They are not separate identities,
but movements within the same self.
The lila tones that run through the series carry a personal meaning —
a gentle but constant push toward change.
Not something sudden,
not something forced,
but something that has been unfolding over time.
These works don’t speak of transformation as something dramatic,
but as something softer.
A transition.
A crossing.
A becoming.
