Adela Beltran Sancho is a talented artist and graphic designer trained in Barcelona. Born in Alcanar in 1973, she has honed her skills and developed a unique artistic style that reflects her Catalan roots. Her work blends traditional art techniques and contemporary design elements, creating visually striking and thought-provoking pieces.

She has studied different artistic techniques of the methodology of the classical tradition using points of view from different countries and academies from the XIX century to represent timeless women.

Her technique is marked by her language and an alphabet of symbols. Using oil, acrylic, wax, paper, and rabbit glue… with different supports such as wood, linen, cotton, or printed materials helps interpret the information the artist wants to express.

Through all physical material, she interprets her thoughts of making thousands of unknown women seen and heard from our past, who have been strong, brave, and empowered. Women who are genetically part of today.

She continuously uses the elements transferred from the past to the present, giving women the current importance they did not have in their time. All people who feel like women are represented in the “Women of the 1700s” series. Adela has held individual and group exhibitions in public spaces and works in private collections and foundations.
