BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
Myriam Besri is a self-taught artist whose creative journey began after a successful modeling career in the 1990s, working with fashion icons such as Sonia Rykiel, Azzedine Alaïa, Dior, and La Perla. Drawn away from the superficiality of the fashion world, she turned to interior design and eventually found her true artistic voice through painting and wearable art.
Without formal training, Besri explores a range of materials, from canvas and wood to fabric, guided by intuition and a passion for unbounded expression. Her work reflects a deep, personal evolution, blending elegance with authenticity in a celebration of transformation and creativity.
