In this painting, artificial intelligence is not represented as a machine, but as a clown—a figure that has long embodied the tension between entertainment and unease. The clown exists in a space of contradiction: playful yet intelligent, familiar yet unsettling. Like AI, it provokes both fascination and distrust, inviting curiosity while simultaneously exposing our discomfort with what we cannot fully comprehend. The helmet functions as a metaphor for the opaque nature of artificial intelligence. It conceals rather than reveals, emphasizing the inaccessibility of the processes that shape AI-generated decisions. What lies beneath remains hidden, reflecting the “black box” that defines much of today’s technological landscape. The painting deliberately incorporates subtle imperfections.
