DESCRIPTION
 "Code IV - The Gate" is an oil painting by the multidisciplinary Yugoslavian master Cassy.
 
Are we accidental or causal beings?

According to science, the universe began to expand, and with the Big Bang, space, time, and matter were born, giving rise to the universe as we know it today.

Religion teaches that initially there was nothing, and then God created the world, with humanity at its center, pinnacle, and purpose: God created everything for them.

Which narrative might be true? I explore this dilemma in the series CODE. Each painting presents to us the chaos of random birth through colors and forms, yet each image also conceals a code.
 
The code - since it links the painting to a single individual - suggests that behind randomness, there may be deliberate intent; our existence is unique and unrepeatable.
 
BIOGRAPHY
Dénes Csasznyi, A.K.A  Cassy Born in 1967 in Becej, Vojvodina, Yugoslavia, resides and works in Budapest, Hungary.

Bronze and resin sculpting is at the heart of his process, often combined with painting, graphics and video installation, resulting in walking not the common roads but goes in search of new path
to explore.
 
Cassy has been selected as a finalist in the 3rd Toolip International Art Contest this 2024 and his artwork Bardosfumato was displayed in the iconic location of the Toolip Art Gallery in Budapest.
 
Cassy has been represented by Toolip Art Gallery since 2024.
