DESCRIPTION
‘Art is served’ is a contemporary reinterpretation of pop culture, in which The Simpsons, a global icon of entertainment, become the protagonists of a visual narrative that mixes irony and social criticism. Through vibrant colours, textural overlays and textural details, the work is inspired by pop art and street art, but breaks away from them to create a unique, layered and conceptual language.
The use of mixed media and collage adds depth to the composition, transforming the characters into symbols of a broader reflection on consumerism, contemporary mythology and the role of art in reinterpreting mass culture. Art is served is not just a homage to a pop icon, but an invitation to question the society we live in and the way the media shapes our perception of reality.
