DESCRIPTION
This painting depicts the serpent from the story of Adam and Eve, a central symbol of temptation and knowledge. Curved among the branches of the Garden of Eden, the snake represents the moment when humanity first becomes aware of choice, desire, and consequence. It is not shown only as evil, but as a quiet presence that brings change.
The serpent stands for curiosity and the search for understanding, marking the passage from innocence to consciousness. Through this image, the painting reflects on the beginning of human awareness and the fragile balance between obedience and freedom.
