BIOGRAPHY OF THE ARTIST
Born in Setúbal, Portugal, in 1977, Marta Nobre graduated in Architecture in 2006. In her early years, she participated in solo exhibitions at art cafes, showcasing her work. However, she took a long break from painting before returning to her artistic practice in 2020.
 
Marta Nobre's art speaks directly to the soul, creating a dynamic dialogue through graphic colors and primitive strokes. Her work is rooted in Expressionism, capturing the essence of dreams and emotions that reside within the mind.
Her primary inspirations come from nature, music, and architecture. She is deeply fascinated by cities and the energy that surrounds them, with each day offering a new chapter for her sketchbook. Marta’s art is an ongoing exploration, translating the world around her into vivid and expressive forms.
