The great "Ghost in a Shell III" has been selected as a finalist in the 3rd Toolip International Art Contest.

According to Sara Ghost in a shell is described as "I invite viewers to contemplate the tension between perfection and chaos, as influenced by my aversion to overly clean or meticulously planned imagery. through layers of drawings, paintings, and transfers, I infuse chaos into what appears too perfect."

Sara Black (née Sara Owusu-Ansah) was born in Accra, Ghana, in 1995. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, in 2019.

Shortly after, she began her National Service at the Savannah Center of Contemporary Arts in Tamale. Unfortunately, due to illness, she had to conclude her service early.

In 2021, Sara continued to pursue her passion for art from home while preparing for her master’s studies. Her dedication paid off when she gained admission to the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, Germany, where she graduated with a Postgraduate degree in 2023.

Despite facing significant challenges, including losing her father in 2023, Sara has successfully participated in several exhibitions and international residencies.

Her living room studio has been the birthplace of many of her creations. Currently residing in Germany, Sara is a full-time artist and freelance English teacher, committed to making her mark in the art world.
